Warming Winter Prosecco Cocktail

Just what you need to warm the cockles on a winter evening, or afternoon, or night, or anytime you fancy really!  First time I made this I didn’t have any Chartreuse and it still tasted great without.


  • 2 tablespoons of Whiskey
  • 1/2 tablespoon ounce Chartreuse
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey mixed with 1/2 teaspoon warm water
  • chilled Prosecco
  • 1 lemon twist for garnish

Note:  makes one cocktail


Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all ingredients except the Prosecco and shake. Strain into a chilled flute, top up with the Prosecco and garnish with the lemon – if you so wish!
