Prosecco tasting, winery tours, sales.
The Santa Margherita winery was founded in 1935 by Conte Gaetano Marzotto, a local entrepreneur who helped modernise and transform agriculture and working conditions in this part of rural Italy. Santa Margherita have been making Prosecco for around 80 years, and these days produce a variety of different still wines and Proseccos, which they export to the USA.
Take a tour of their state of the art winery in Portogruaro, or organise a tasting session with one of their expert winemakers. They’re open Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings – staff speak English, German and Italian.
