These are wonderful as an after dinner treat if you want something indulgent and sweet rather than a whole dessert.  Wrapped in a pretty box, they also make a thoughtful and original homemade gift and the recipe is so very simple.    Always a winner with friends and family – who would turn their nose up at a box of homemade prosecco chocolate truffles?!

    How long before these need eating? I am going to make some for Christmas day and wondering how soon to make them?

      Hi Becky, since they have cream in, I’d make them just a couple of days in advance and think they would be best stored in the fridge. I ate them a little too quickly to have any storage issues! 🙂 Rachel, Prosecco Club

    Mine just would not set, I tried adding more chocolate but still useless. I totally followed instructions too. Really disappointed.

      Really sorry to hear that Emm. I have made these a couple of times now – I wonder if it depends on chocolate used? I’ll experiment and see.

  3. Just made our first batch, will definitely try again …. We rolled them in finely crushed Pistachio nuts instead of the glitter!
