I LOVE sloe gin and was lucky enough to receive some for Christmas so I have been looking for a cocktail recipe that combined sloe gin and prosecco! This is simple enough and using the egg white gives it that delicious cocktail foam – great for impressing party guests!
- 25ml sloe gin
- 25ml fresh-squeezed lemon juice (half a lemon)
- 1 egg white
Combine the sloe gin, lemon juice, and egg white in a cocktail shaker. Shake for at least 10 seconds then fill the shaker with ice and shake again for about 20 seconds. Strain the mixture into your glass then top up with Prosecco. Wait a moment until it has settled then top up again!
Note: don’t add the egg white if you prefer but it does give it that lovely cocktail foam!
