Death in Venice Prosecco Cocktail

This fabulous sounding cocktail comes from famous Mixologist Tony Conigliaro, founder of 69 Colebrook Row (or The Bar With No Name), one of the finest cocktail bars in London.  Created as an ode to the Italian ‘aperativo’ which has various meanings – I like to think of it as the stopgap drink between lunch and late dinner when you meet up with friends and enjoy a few hors d’oeuvres before the main event.  Needless to say, we’re big fans of an aperativo and this delicious cocktail!

Ingredients

  • Campari – 15ml
  • Grapefruit Bitters – 4 drops
  • Prosecco

Serves 1

Method

Add the Campari and Grapefruit Bitters to your glass, then top up with Prosecco and stir lightly.
