Prosecco tasting, winery tours, sales.
Bortolin Fratelli is situated in San Stefano di Valdobbiadene, in between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. The winery is most celebrated for its Proseccos, which have been winning awards for over fifty years. Bortolin Fratelli can trace its winemaking history back as far as 1542, when Zan Bortolin bought his first plots of land in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area. The winery was completely modernised in the 1950s, when Valeriano Bortolin (grandfather of the current owner) introduced the first autoclaves and modern bottling technology into the distillery to produce Prosecco using the Charmat method.
Today, Bortolin Fratelli produce around 350,000 bottles of Prosecco each year, the majority of which are Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOCG and Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOCG Superiore di Cartizze. They produce a variety of differently-styled Proseccos in dry, extra dry and brut versions, as well as a limited edition Millesimato. Visitors are welcome for Prosecco tasting, sales and tours of the winery.
